My name is Desirée Ossandon (sounds like dez-ih-ray oh-sand-in) - although you may know me as Desirée O or D. Cole Ossandon.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist (writer / musician / artist / actor) based in Guelph & Toronto, Canada. Examples of my work (as well as links to other projects) can be found on this site.
My art is often experimental - exploring culture, society, human nature, and so much more - and has won awards for both writing and performance.
My work has appeared in publications, books, anthologies, websites, and magazines including Shameless Magazine, Matrix Magazine, Branch Magazine, The Incongruous Quarterly, ditch, Steel Bananas, and more.
I am also the founder as well as Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief of Canada Arts Connect and Canada Arts Connect Magazine.
