About

My name is Desirée Ossandon (sounds like dez-ih-ray oh-sand-in), although you may also know me as Desirée O and/or D. Cole Ossandon.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist (writer / musician / artist / actor) – or a Professional Bohemian – based in Guelph & Toronto, Canada.

My art is often experimental - exploring culture, society, human nature, and so much more - and has won awards for both writing and performance.

My work has appeared in books, anthologies, websites, and magazines including Shameless Magazine, Matrix Magazine, Branch Magazine, The Incongruous Quarterly, ditch, Steel Bananas, and more.

I am also the founder as well as Writer/Editor and Community Manager of Canada Arts Connect and Canada Arts Connect Magazine.

Examples of my work (as well as links to other projects) can be found on this website.
