I Won the #guelPhonography #GuelphAlteredState Mini-Challenge!

Here’s a personally pleasing art update:

I won the #guelPhonography #GuelphAlteredState mini-challenge!

What is #guelPhonography?

guelphonography logo…in 2012,  the concept of Guelphonography was born. Guelphonography = Guelph mobile photography.

The…mission is to showcase the spirit, energy, beauty, abundance and character of the Guelph community via an annual contest and exhibit. [GUELPHONOGRAPHY TEAM]

And what are the mini-challenges?

Fun weekly challenges help keep the conversation going!

Explore different photo-editing apps and share your shots on TwitterInstagramFacebook, or Google+…The shot with the most likes, or favourites for the week wins a wee prize!

And I won the #GuelphAlteredState mini-challenge!

“#GuelphAlteredState: a pic of anything that’s been edited or altered in some way.”

Here is my entry that won (a pic of Guelph’s downtown fountain altered with the Andy Warhol Effect filter app):

Thanks so much, #guelPhonography team!

I’ve also submitted entries to the main contest’s three categories:

guelphlandia - FREE Neighbourhood Hydrant Water - by Desiree O - 2014

Visit Guelph

visitguelph - Art on the Street - by Desiree O - 2014

Downtown Guelph

downtownguelph - The Fountain Flows - by Desiree O - 2014

I’ll keep my fingers crossed that I might win one of the main categories!
